Hi Roger,
Arrived back at the weekend from our holiday to New England and just wanted to say thank you we had a great time and everything went smoothly, although we did get lost a couple of times with directions mostly due to detours on routes and one place being closed off on the Monday due to extended July 4th celebrations.
We just wanted to give you some specific feedback on a couple of the accommodations that we used. All the accommodation except the one in Dorset - Barrows House - were great and that one was ok but not quite to the standard of the others, however two of the accommodations were outstanding.
The Captain Lord Mansion at Kennebunkport was superb the room was fantastic and the staff so very helpful. They even had tea, coffee and cold drinks in the fridge permanently available to you at no cost which we thought was unbelievable. I expect you already know this but we were amazed. Even once we had checked out we wanted to stay in the area for the morning and they offered to keep the car whilst we did some further sightseeing by foot and said we could use the restroom and help ourselves to further drinks when we returned for the car before we moved off again.
The other one which words can’t describe was the Inn at Cape Cod, Mike & Helen were the most welcoming people and just couldn’t do enough for you. They did say that you had been to stay with them before so I expect you are well aware of their hospitality. They planned a couple of trips for us, the whale watching and the ferries to Nantucket and made our stay so homely. They also had on tea, coffee and cookies (which Bryan said were really good) available whenever you wanted them. We were really sad to leave them. As Cape Cod was our last stop it made a fantastic end to what had already been a really great holiday.
We are now going to start saving hard for our next one, so hopefully we will be back with you for another trip in 2012.

Just to let you know we had a WONDERFUL holiday. All went to plan. The colours were amazing, the standard of the inns was exceptional, the pace was just right.
Pete didn’t get bitten by mosquitos, and the sun shined almost all the time we were there. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
Only little problem, I appear to have left my camera behind, and I believe it may have got left in the footwell of the hire car.
Could you please let me have Hertz’s email address so I can ask.
We actually upgraded to an Audi Q7 and that was pretty awesome too.

We have just returned from our trip to New England and I wanted to say thank you for organising such great hotels for us. They were all really nice in different ways and the Wentworth Inn in Jackson was just perfect.
We couldn’t have found these ourselves and will definitely be contacting you again for our next trip to the US.

Just a note to let you know that we had a brilliant holiday. Everything went to plan, all the hotels were great, the weather was lovely (only one mornings rain) and we really enjoyed the travelling and all the different places we visited. It also made it clear to both of us that we much preferred to travel around rather than being based in one location. We even got the Ford Mustang that we wanted after a little wheeling and dealing. Thanks once again for all your efforts and I feel sure that we will be using your services again in the future.

I thought I would mail you to say how very much we enjoyed our recent holiday to New England. It was really excellent and definitely measured up to our [high] expectations.
We particularly loved all of the coastal areas. One of the most significant features that contributed to our very high level of satisfaction was the high quality of the rooms we were assigned virtually everywhere. It made it very special to be shown to rooms of such comfort and size. I don’t know if that was a deliberate policy of yours or sheer coincidence but I would mention the Lenox in Boston, Nonantum, Stockbridge and the Von Trapp Lodge as exceptional. We were also really impressed with the kindness and good nature of almost all the staff we met.
So, as we say, we had a wonderful holiday and thoroughly enjoyed New England. Very many thanks
We have arrived home safely from our fly drive to New England. We’ve had a wonderful time and everything went according to plan. The last three days relaxing in Chatham were just what we needed and we would really recommend the Bradford Inn. Although they don’t serve dinner, there are plenty of good restaurants within a few minutes walk. The dinner at The Orchards in Williamstown was also memorable occasion. The Harley Davidson event at Mount Washington and the Green Mountain Corvette Classic were favourites for the ‘boys’. We are waiting for the photographs now so that we can re-live the holiday. Many thanks for arranging everything, also for the gift on return. We hope to travel with you again before too long.
