In addition to this we are committed to hosting our own in-house familiarisation trips which offer members of our team the unique hands on opportunity to engage in the inspiring travel experiences Complete North Amwerica create which our clients want to learn about and try for themselves. Those who attend familiarisation visits provide additional training to other members of our team back in the U.K. and all members of our team are en-rolled in specialist web-based modular training to further improve their general product knowledge. Specific customer related skills training is provided on a regular basis by our training and consultancy partners at People Development Works Ltd. Customer Account Manager
Direct responsibility to our customers for designing, proposing and negotiating travel packages, you will also develop a strong portfolio of key customers. You will be skilled in managing the customer experience, understanding their needs and providing an outstanding level of customer service and product expertise. Whilst the ability to work autonomously is essential, a high level of interpersonal skill is required to work effectively with different departments to ensure the delivery of product and service to the customer.
Key attributes -
Some experience of the travel industry preferred but not essential
Significant customer facing and sales experience in any business to business or consumer goods
Account management experience preferred where there has been previous accountability for revenue and profit across a customer portfolio
Excellent and immediately recognisable people skills, where relationships with others are built easily
Strong communication and influencing skills especially as concerns use of the telephone and the written word
A real demonstrable ability to get into the customer’s shoes and think from the customer’s perspective
To be organised and self-motivated to plan and deliver high quality work
To coordinate business resource, provide support to the sales function and business infrastructure to enable CNA to provide an excellent level of service to it's customers, suppliers and fellow employees. Requires a diligent person who can tackle large administrative workloads with a high degree of concentration and accuracy. Requires a self motivated person who enjoys a team environment and daily workload targets.
Key attributes -
Demonstrate an understanding of consultant sales targets and work with the sales consultants to ensure a ‘teamwork’ approach to delivery at all times
Develop strong internal working relationships and communication with line management and colleagues
Ensure all successful customer proposals are actioned correctly as concerns bookings with suppliers, communication and feedback via the sales consultant to the customer, etc.
Provide ‘personal assistant’ support to both directors and line management as and when the need arises
Maintain records and check for accuracy for all supplier invoices prior to authorising for payment
Manage all incoming hard copy mail and distribute this daily to the correct recipients
Physically greet all visitors to the CNA offices, ensure they are comfortable and inform whomever they have come to visit of their arrival.
Help to identify and offer ideas to develop new initiatives to improve the range and quality of services provided by CNA and to ensure responsiveness to changes in the external environment.
Adhere to CNA HR processes such as agreement of formal objectives, preparation for formal reviews and proactively working on any agreed personal development plan.
Maintain an effective working relationship with other CNA employees to ensure there is efficient co-ordination of all CNA activities in support of strategic objectives.
Assist in the adherence to all policies and procedures to ensure that a safe and healthy working office environment is maintained at all times.
