This is a customer review from the Jackman party who went on a Canadian holiday at the end of September 2016.

Dear Alistair.

Now that we’re back we wondered if you would like a bit of feedback.

Toronto is described as New York run by the Swiss. It’s an interesting city, very clean and friendly. The CN Tower is a must-see.

The train to Jasper was an excellent experience. Our accommodation on board was the cabin with two bunks and this was better than the other alternatives. The food and service was excellent.

Jasper was a nice place to stay for a bit longer. The Sawridge hotel was first class.

The trip to Banff was very good, especially the Glacier Walkway. Banff was again an interesting place and the gondola ride up Sulphur Mountain is the highlight of the area. The Caribou Lodge hotel was good, albeit on the edge of town with a good bus service and the hotel provides complimentary bus passes.

The Rocky Mountaineer was everything we expected and more as we were allocated the new Gold Leaf carriage with its luxurious seating and service.

Vancouver had some interesting features such as Gastown, and we would recommend ‘Flyover’ which is an Epcot style experience.

All in all we can say that the holiday was a success and generally as we expected or better. The hotels were all good quality, and clean and efficient. The tour guides were all very good and informative, especially on the trip we did to Niagara falls.

Thank you for your part in making this a holiday to remember.
