Introduction
A 18 day exploration of Ontario and Quebec, while over-nighting
a small Inns and Bed and Breakfast accommodation, a unique way
to explore this area of Canada. You will start in Toronto, work
your way along the St. Lawrence River, into Quebec and Montreal,
Quebec City and Waterville in the Eastern Townships, before crossing
back into Ontario and Ottawa, the Nations Capital. You last two
nights are in Niagara Falls before returning your car rental to
Toronto’s Pearson International Airport.

After clearing Canada customs, obtain your rental car from the
airport. As the world’s most ethnically diverse city, Toronto
also has distinctive shopping districts and markets that offer
a wide range of unique shopping experiences. These vibrant retail
areas include Queen Street West, Kensington Market, St. Lawrence
Market, five Chinatowns, Little Italy along St. Clair West, the
Greek community along "The Danforth," Little Portugal
at Dundas and Bathurst Streets, and Gerrard India Bazaar at Gerrard
and Greenwood.

Toronto
Spend the next two days exploring
this vibrant and cosmopolitan city. Perhaps take in a show, Toronto
has the third largest live theatre centre in the world.

Gananoque 290

Today you travel east along the shores of Lake Ontario, to the
1000 Islands region and the historic town of Gananoque. Along
the way, you will travel through Kingston, one of Canada’s
original capitals, with many historic buildings. Visit Fort Henry,
a 19th century British military fortress and a National Historic
Site.

Gananoque
We have included a 1000 Islands cruise with Gananoque Boat Line,

Montreal

Today, continue on to Montreal, where it began in 1642 with
the first French settlers. Montreal showcases its history and
its future in architecture with graceful gray stones, sultry red
bricks, shiny aluminum, green and blue-tinted glass. And because
these building materials were wielded by some of the brightest
architectural minds of the past two centuries, Montréal’s
urban landscape is nothing short of fascinating. A voucher valid
for exchange for a Montreal Museum Pass is included in your documents,
which gives you access to 30 member museums over the next three-days.

Montreal
As the second largest French speaking
city in the world, Montreal offers a fascinating mix of both the
French and English cultures. Some of the finest shopping and dining
in North America awaits you. We have included a voucher in your
documents that is valid a four different restaurants and is good
for $50.00 towards your bill, so you choose the restaurant and
decided what to eat, bon apetit!

Travel to Quebec City today, with its unequalled historical

City, will help you discover almost 400 years of history. While
its shows, theatres and festivals will put you in a very celebratory
mood!

City
Today, we suggest a walking tour of Quebec within Old Quebec’s
stone walls. The commanding wall, declared a historical monument
in 1957, forms a 4.6 kilometre-long defensive belt around the
old city. A sentry path lined with interpretation signposts runs
atop the ramparts and gates, allowing the visitor to understand
the evolution of the defense system of the last fortified city
remaining north of Mexico City. There are many unique shops to
browse through in Vieux-Quebec, the areas of Petit Champlain and
the Old Port are a must see with many antique shops and charming
restaurants.

Ottawa
There are many different sites for you to visit in the Capital
Region, perhaps you want to take a cruise on the Rideau Canal,
or a journey on the Hull – Wakefield Steam Train. Another
must see would be the training centre for the Musical Ride of
the Royal Canadian Mountain Police and the Canadian Museum of
Civilization (included) in Gatineau across the river from Ottawa.
An evening’s fun and entertainment can de had at the Casino
de Lac Leamy in Gatineau, and we have included VIP Access in
your package.

Niagara Falls 615 KM
Today, travel south from Ottawa to the St. Lawrence River,
then continue your journey along the shores of Lake Ontario
to Niagara Falls, the honeymoon capital of the world. To many
Niagara is more than the spectacle of Niagara Falls, it’s
the aroma of ripening grapes for wine and the taste of succulent
fresh fruit, its theme parks or to history buffs, it’s
the 20 historical museums, two reconstructed forts, along with
the historic charm of Niagara on the Lake. Or for sportsmen,
has over 40 golf courses, fishing on Lakes Ontario and Erie.
