Introduction
As we have done with several other regions this is an itinerary with a very personal 'C.N.A.' preference to it. This itinerary really is the way to 'Do New England'. For this tour we utilise smaller very personal New England Inn's for which this region is famous for, they are not the kind of properties you will find anywhere else in North America and do indeed capture the essence of the New England experience. For us they are just as important as the route itself.
Your tour starts with an extended stay in Boston, the birthplace of Independence and a really quite charming town. Your driving route is a classic New England circular route. We avoid too many 1 night stops giving you time to savour the beautiful coastlines of Maine, Rhode Island and world famous Cape Cod and contrast it with the stunning mountain scenery of New Hampshire and Vermont.
This tour is very much for all seasons, the coastlines of New England are great places to be during the summer, Cape Cod for many years has been a traditional summer retreat for many New Yorker's as temperatures regularly sore above 80 degrees. In the fall months of September and October New England glows with the world famous colours of autumn and in winter many areas take one a new appearance once again with a blanket of snow when winter sports can be found in abundance. We are supremely confident this tour will provide you with memories to last a lifetime!

Quite often we hear people say all they need is a bed for the night, something clean and comfortable and whilst these are essential requirements from any accommodation, it's all too easy to overlook the really important part properties with character style and good service can play in providing the perfect driving holiday experience.
This is never been more true than in New England where small family run Inn's are a tradition that goes back many years and form an integral part of the regions appeal today. Bringing this style of accommodation together into an itinerary is a real challenge. Many Inn's have as little as 10 rooms and often a different rate for each room. The Inn's we have selected do have the volume of rooms and stability of rates for us to construct a package, however they retain the 'Inn feel' that we are so keen to offer. Should you wish to consider smaller Inn's where rates vary for the individual rooms offered then we are experienced in dealing with these kind of properties and would be quite happy to talk to you about the options and construct and itinerary and costing just for you.
Preparation
As with all of our driving holidays we will supply you with a comprehensive full colour personal travel portfolio including customised maps, driving directions, a detailed day by day itinerary details about all activities and attraction information. You will of course be provided with all documentation/tickets required for your arrangements. Whilst we respect your desire for an independent tour we make sure that for the purpose of emergencies and problems there is someone on hand 24 hours a day - You will be provided with a contact number to call in your documentation.
