DAY ONE

Morning
Narrated Walking tour of Miami Beach's Historic Art Deco District - Led by Miami Design Preservation League guides, you'll discover the architectural crown jewels of this one-square-mile of Traditional Deco, Streamline Moderne and Spanish Mediterranean Revival styles.

Afternoon
Lunch in the Art Deco District - Enjoy lunch at one of the trendy eateries of the Art Deco District. The Holocaust Museum - A tribute to the victims of Nazi terrorism, this inspiring memorial is dominated by a giant bronze arm reaching skyward.

Miami-Palm-TreesThe Wolfsonian-FIU - Devoted to the decorative, design and architectural arts, this international museum and study centre contains nearly 50,000 objets d'art and rare books from the late 19th to the mid-20th centuries. Lincoln Road Shopping District - Experience the essence of revitalized South Beach, home to a myriad of performing arts organizations, art galleries, one-of- a-kind boutiques and restaurants. Make time to attend a New World Symphony concert or open rehearsal.

Evening
Dinner on Lincoln Road - Sample delectable dishes from the world's cuisines and enjoy the lively atmosphere of the Art Deco District. A Night in South Beach - If it is a specific club atmosphere you crave, South Beach offers a nightspot to suit all tastes: options include great reggae, jazz, pop, merengue and salsa venues, to name a few. Check out Gallery Nights, when the art galleries stay open late! Optional: Take in a play or catch a concert at one of the area's noted performing arts venues.


DAY TWO

Morning
Bal Harbour Shops - An internationally renowned collection of specialty boutiques, restaurants and cafes in a tropical-garden setting. Browse through Bvlgari, Chanel, Gucci, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Tiffany & Co., Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. 

Afternoon
Lunch in North Miami/Sunny Isles Beach/ North Bay Village - This area's restaurants offer everything from all-you-can-eat stone crabs to homemade pasta.
Aventura Mall - Anchored by Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Nordstrom, JCPenney and Sears, the mall features more than 280 shops and restaurants, with self and valet parking. The new revitalization includes an indoor/outdoor piazza surrounded by a 24-screen theater and exciting restaurants such as The Cheesecake Factory, Ocean Prime, Paul Maison de Qualité 1889 and Grand Luxe Cafe.

DAY THREE

Everglades National Park and Biscayne National Park - Greater Miami and the Beaches boasts two of the largest National Parks in the U.S. Visit more than a million acres of rare and beautiful ecosystems. Enjoy a hiking or bike trail, rent a canoe or kayak, try fishing or relax aboard a backcountry or bay cruise.

Miccosukee Indian Village and Airboat Rides - Witness craft making and alligator wrestling, learn about Native American folk traditions and take a fantastic journey on an airboat.

Afternoon
Monkey Jungle - Watch from special observation "cages" as nearly 500 primates of 50 species roam free in their tropical habitat. Fruit & Spice Park - Featuring more than 500 varieties of exotic fruits, herbs, spices and nuts from around the world growing in a 30-acre living plant museum. Miami-vizcayaThe Falls Shopping Centre - Enjoy lunch at your choice of restaurants within this open-air centre surrounded by waterfalls. You'll find more than 100 shops, including Bloomingdale's and Macy's and a 12-screen movie theatre. Jungle Island - Home to some of the world's most beautiful birds, this subtropical garden features trained bird shows and wildlife exhibits. Dadeland Mall - A favourite shopping destination for more than 30 years, Dadeland Mall is home to top names in retail establishments including Macy's, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom and the country's largest The Limited and Express. Miami Seaquarium - Thrill to the shows starring Flipper and Lolita the Killer Whale, and encounter sea lions, sharks and manatees.

Lunch on Key Biscayne - Sample marvellous steaks or seafood at one of Key Biscayne's popular eateries. Afterward, depart to Vizcaya Museum and Gardens - this Renaissance-style bayfront villa houses a priceless collection of 15th- through 19th-century furnishings and decorative arts. Outside are 10 acres of formal gardens, graced by several ornate fountains. Miami Art Museum of Miami-Dade County and Historical Museum of Southern Florida - Overlooking a delightful Spanish-style plaza, the museums are two of the showpieces of the landmark Miami-Dade Cultural Centre. Bayside Marketplace - Shop and stroll through this lively retail and entertainment complex with its shops, artisans, open plazas, street performers and free nightly entertainment.

DAY SEVEN

Morning
Guided Walking Tour of Little Havana - Led by Historian Dr. Paul George, this tour highlights the historic significance of this unique Greater Miami neighbourhood.
Coral Gables Merrick House - Visit the boyhood home of George Merrick, founding father of Coral Gables, South Florida's "City Beautiful." This historic landmark has been restored to the 1920s period.

Miami-South-Beach-at-Night-smLunch in Coral Gables - Some of the most innovative cuisine in Greater Miami and the Beaches can be found in Coral Gables' restaurants. Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden - This 83-acre garden paradise of tropical plants from around the world features a rain forest, a sunken garden, a rare plant house and the magnificent overlook featuring Bailey Palm Glade vistas. The Barnacle State Historic Site - Built in 1891 by Coconut Grove pioneer Ralph Munroe, the home and grounds exemplify the spirit of early Coconut Grove. Charles Avenue Historic District - Visit the first Black, primarily Bahamian, community on the South Florida mainland.

Gallery Nights in Coral Gables - Hop on the shuttle and be whisked through a night when the galleries stay open late. Dinner/Free Time in Coconut Grove - Enjoy one of the area's oldest neighbourhoods, Coconut Grove, which charms visitors with an elegant, old-fashioned village ambiance. Set in the heart of "The Grove" is CocoWalk, a Mediterranean-style shopping, dining and entertainment complex. You will also find the Streets of Mayfair, a modern town square featuring a myriad of outdoor cafes, nightspots, theatres, restaurants and shops. The Village of Merrick Park is South Florida's newest luxury retail forum.
