This is a customer review from the Tapper Party who went on a New England & Canada Fly Drive at the start of July 2016

Alistair,

Thank you for arranging such an excellent trip. We had a really good holiday, starting off well when we went to check in at Terminal 5 to find that BA had upgraded us from World Traveller Plus (unfortunately only one way though!) to Club Class.

After a quick check in at The Langham at Boston we made our way down to the waterfront for an early supper and await the fantastic firework display over the harbour. This was part of the four day Harborfest leading up to the 4th of July celebrations.

Although this years’ holiday was only about one thousand miles we really appreciated the use of a full size SUV. The scenery through New England was amazing also. The Wentworth Inn was a beautiful colonial building which was very elegant (my wife recommends the waffles with Vermont Maple Syrup for breakfast!) We enjoyed paddling in the nearby falls at the end of a long hot day.

I did not know what to expect at the border crossing into Canada at Alburg Springs but we were the only vehicle in sight and had crossed in no time.

Ottawa was an unexpected highlight of the Canadian part of our trip. We would be more than happy to return.

We wish we could have had more time in Niagara Falls. We would recommend a detour to Niagara on the Lake on the way to Toronto. Again we finished off with an excellent hotel in the Omni King Edward in Toronto. We managed over 14 miles of walking on our free day!

Apart from the two days in Montreal we had hot sunny weather throughout and even arrived back in the UK to blue skies.

Hopefully we will be in touch at the end of the year about our next trip.

Regards
Graham and Karen Tapper
