Weather
During the summer months the weather should be favourable in all areas. During the autumn/winter months, weather is less predictable and snowfall and road closures are common around Yosemite. Conditions are often still pleasant in San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles at this time
Best time to visit
You will definitely see the best of the west if you were to travel during the months of June – October. California is nice all year round but the likes of Yosemite, Grand Canyon in Arizona and other sights slightly to the east of Cali may be less predictable.
Cities
Cali has three world class cities in Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco which all offer something different in turn. San Fran has the sights, San Diego has the beaches and LA has the best of both while Vegas is also close by.
Coasts
California and the west offer some quite beautiful drives including the world renowned Highway 1 in California. The drive on our Seattle to San Francisco particularly in Washington and Oregon also offers a magnificent coastal route.

There is so much natural beauty in the west of the USA: Yosemite National Park, Grand Canyon, Joshua Tree National Park, Death Valley National Park, Lake Tahoe, Monterey, Lake Havasu and so much more.
