Mississippi offers generally warm year round temperatures if a little humid in the summer months with temperatures statewide averaging at about 27C. Winters in Mississippi are still generally pretty mild with averages of 10C across the state.
Best time to visit
As you venture to the mountain area, temperatures are likely to drop notably though in summer it should still be very pleasant. However mountain weather is unpredictable and layered clothing is the best and most versatile attire to wear.
