Weather

The Capital Region experiences generally favourable weather from April to October where temperatures average at about 15C during these months. The summer months see temperatures rise into the 20s and even 30s on occasion.

Best time to visit

During the winter months certain regions including Washington, DC do experience cold weather and snowfall. Autumn offers spectacular colours in the mountain regions and summer along the Eastern coastline is a time to savour.
