Day 1: Anchorage Arrival
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. The rest of day is at leisure.
Overnight Anchorage.
Day 2: Free day in Anchorage
Today explore Alaska’s largest city! Go shopping, visit the Alaska Native Heritage Centre or enjoy one of our optional tours such as bear viewing, or sightseeing tours from Anchorage (not included).
Overnight in Anchorage
Day 3: Anchorage – Seward by train (4 hrs)
Transfer to the train station in the morning on your own. Depart at 6:45H on a 4 hour scenic train journey along Cook Inlet and into the glacier filled Kenai Mountains. Upon arrival in Seward, 6 hour cruise of Kenai Fjords National Park.
The park boasts abundant wildlife, alpine and tidewater glaciers, and breath-taking scenery. Watch for Stellar Sea Lions, seals, puffins, eagles, and whales. You will stop in front of the glacier to hear it moving and possibly see ice fall into the ocean.
Overnight Seward
Day 4: Seward – Talkeetna by bus (7 hrs)
Depart at 10:30H on your scheduled bus transfer to Talkeetna today. A 90 minute stop in Anchorage allows time to purchase lunch. Arrival in Talkeetna around 17:30H.
The evening is at your leisure.
Overnight Talkeetna
Day 5: Talkeetna – Denali by bus (2.5 hrs)
Most of the day at leisure in Talkeetna. Depart at 17:45H on your scheduled bus transfer to Denali today. Arrival around 20:30H.

Day 6: Denali National Park
In the early morning, depart on a bus tour into Denali National Park. Stops will be made for viewing wildlife, such as bears and moose, and taking photographs. Snack included.
Day 7: Denali – Anchorage by Train (7.5 hrs)
In the morning time for optional activities. At 12:30H depart on the Alaska Railroad to Anchorage. Upon arrival in Anchorage at 20:00H, transfer to hotel on own.
Overnight Anchorage
Day 8: Anchorage Departure
Your adventure comes to an end with a transfer to the airport.

- Alaska Railroad Anchorage to Seward and Denali to Anchorage (standard program: standard rail car seating)
- Bus transfers from Seward to Talkeetna and Talkeetna to Denali
- 6 hour boat tour into Kenai Fjords National Park with lunch (Day 3)
- Approx. 8 hour bus tour into Denali National Park with snack (in May/Sept tour may be shorter due to road conditions) (Day 6)
- All taxes and National Park fees
