Day 1

Journey Time – 7 hours

Welcome to Boston and welcome aboard the New England fall foliage tour! On arrival at Boston Logan International Airport, there is a transfer to your tour downtown hotel. Maybe take a stroll to Downtown Crossing or historic Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. Later, gather with your Tour Director for a Welcome Reception, and an opportunity to mingle and get to know each other over a pleasant evening of dinner and wine.

Overnight – Boston (Welcome Reception and Welcome Dinner included)

Day 2

Discover some of Boston’s most famous sights as your Tour Director takes you along the Freedom Trail. Then enjoy the colourful scenery as you travel west to Stockbridge for a visit to the Norman Rockwell Museum, the largest and most significant collection of original Rockwell art. Next, travel through the stunning rolling hills of the Berkshires to your hotel in the beautiful college town of Williamstown.

Overnight – Williamstown (Breakfast and Dinner included)

Day 3 & 4

Leave Massachusetts to journey through the legendary fall foliage of Vermont. After a photo stop at Quechee Gorge, visit the Rockefellers’ renowned Billings Farm and Museum, a working dairy farm and farm life museum. Next is the quintessential Vermont village of Woodstock with its picturesque covered bridge. There is time to stroll the quaint streets before heading to Stowe for a two-night stay. It was the breathtaking alpine setting that attracted the Von Trapp family, of ‘The Sound of Music’ fame, when they arrived from Austria in the late 40’s and built their wonderful hideaway. At tonight’s Highlight Dinner, each of the three inspired courses are perfectly paired with a lager tasting from your resort’s on-site microbrewery. The next day enjoy beautiful scenery ablaze with fall colours and views of Vermont’s tallest peak, Mount Mansfield. Visit Cold Hollow Apple Cider Mill and taste fresh cider in the making, then sample flavours of a different kind on a guided tour of Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory. Return to the charming town of Stowe where the rest of the day is free to wander the quaint streets, hike in the woods, or enjoy the lodge’s amenities.

Overnight – Stowe (Breakast / Highlight Dinner / Breakfast included)

Day 5 & 6
North Conway

Near Montpelier visit Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks and taste a Vermont tradition: “sugar on snow” – maple syrup served with a doughnut and pickle! Next, learn all about cheese-making at the Cabot Creamery and nibble on the “World’s Best Cheddar.” Then head for New Hampshire’s White Mountains and enter Franconia Notch. Get your cameras ready for a ride on the aerial tramway offering superb panoramic views. Later journey through the dazzling crimson and orange hues of the famed Kancamagus Scenic Byway for two-nights in North Conway. This morning, enjoy an interpretive presentation by a naturalist on the North Woods’ wildlife and ecology. Then, more spectacular fall foliage awaits as you journey through Crawford Notch. Stop for pictures at the Silver Cascade Waterfall and Bretton Woods, offering stunning views of Mount Washington, the tallest peak in the northeast at 6,288 ft. (1,917 metres). Return to your hotel where you are at leisure this evening.

Overnight – North Conway (Breakfast / Dinner / Breakfast incuded)

Day 7

Leaving New Hampshire’s glorious fall foliage, enter the deep green pine forests of western Maine. At charming Kennebunkport, travel along Ocean Drive with stunning views of the Maine coastline and the homes of Kennebunkport’s rich and famous, including the summer retreat of former President George H.W. Bush. Browse the many galleries and shops, or walk along the waterfront before continuing to charming and historic Portland. In the evening, enjoy a Celebration Dinner at a local restaurant collaborating with local farms and fisheries to provide a farm-to-table experience.

Do I need a visa to travel to the usa?

In most circumstances, no visa is required for travel to the USA for any British Citizen passport holder and many other European passport holders, whose countries qualify for the Visa Waiver Program (VWP). This program permits entry for up to 90 days for business or leisure purposes. Everyone must apply to use the VWP via the online Electronic System of Travel Authorization (ESTA).  Advice states this should be done online at least 72 hours prior to departure. On payment of the $14 fee this system usually issues an electronic confirmation within minutes but this is not guaranteed and there are certain criteria travellers must consider before applying via ESTA to use the Visa Waiver Program. Once granted the VWP authorization is valid for 2 years.

It is essential that everyone who plans to travel to the United States reads the information contained on the following page – Visa Waiver Program

Please note : From 21st January 2016 The United States implemented changes to the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) as part of the Terrorist Travel Protection Act of 2015. One of the major changes implemented in January excludes any British National who has travelled to Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, or Yemen since March 01st 2011 from using the Visa Waiver Program (VWP). Full details are contained on the above link but those affected will need to apply for a Visitor Visa with the U.S. Embassy before booking their travel arrangements.

You are advised to complete your ESTA prior to confirming any travel arrangements.

To use ESTA now please only use the following website – Official ESTA Website

Complete North America Limited cannot be held responsible for cancellation charges incurred by travellers who have booked travel and are subsequently unable to travel as part of the VWP or who are unable to obtain a Visitor Visa. If you have any questions after reading the information supplied above please speak to a member of our team.

Do I need a visa to travel to Canada?

Most online applications are approved with minutes by email but the process can take longer particularly if supporting documentation is requested. An eTA is valid for 5 years and allows you to travel for up to 6 months on any one visit.

You are advised to apply for your eTA prior to confirming any travel arrangements.

For applications and full information on the scheme please only visit – Official Canadian Government eTA Website

4. How did you find us?

This was to be a once-in-a-lifetime holiday. It was memorable for the range of new experiences, the lovely places we stayed, your kind gift of the Boston excursions card and the matchless hospitality of the Liberty Inn at Yarmouth

Chisholm Party (New England) -

I just wanted to thank you once again for all the planning, booking and organising that you did on our behalf. Each of the hotels were great and the hotel in Niagara had the best view of any hotel I’ve stayed in around the world

Watts Party (New England & Eastern Canada) -

The Autumn colours were magnificent and we really enjoyed seeing the Pumpkin Festival celebrations in New England and then when we crossed the border, the Farmers markets and preparations for Thanksgiving in Canada.
