Newfoundland & Labrador

Explore Newfoundland & Labrador

14 night fly drive from £2,499 per person including flights, car rental and accommodation

Welcome to the land where the sun first rises over North America! Newfoundland and Labrador is a land of unique experiences – how about getting eye to eye with a 30-tonne humpback whale? Or watching as icebergs drift by on the horizon and the sky fills with seabirds that nest here in their millions? You can visit the first European settlement in North American, built by the Vikings five centuries before Columbus bumped into the Caribbean, and marvel at the outstanding beauty of Gros Morne National Park. You’ll travel through small ‘outports’ – that’s fishing villages to you and I – with names to capture the imagination. From Cupids and Heart’s Desire to Tickle Cove and Heart’s Content you’ll see why is so easy to fall in love with this land.
Newfoundland & Labrador is big – about the size of California – but with only half-million residents you won’t be bumping elbows with fellow explorers at every turn. This is a land to explore, with a rich and varied history, colourful coastal communities and natural wonders aplenty.

St. John’s, the provincial capital, is a combination of picturesque and colourful houses, pubs and restaurants. It’s a melting pot of heritage and culture giving the city a lively personality. Nova Scotia Cabot Trail

We had a fantastic holiday in Nova Scotia. It was even better than we had expected. The weather was great, only one drizzly day & some very heavy rain one night when we were at Truro.
