Some really good feedback on the Atlantic Canada region from valued customers of Complete North America.
Hi Duncan,
I wanted to say a big thank you for organising our holiday to Nova Scotia.
We had an absolutely wonderful time. We were really lucky with the weather and the scenery was amazing across the whole of the province. I totally understand why you said it has become a popular destination.
In addition to the brilliant locations, the accommodation was wonderful too (thanks also to the New Brunswick team for sorting that out for us). It was really nice to have a mix of hotels and country inns (all of them being great). The more personal touch of the smaller country inns also made a nice change from the larger hotels so I can highly recommend this combination. As you can see below, the view from our room at the Seawind Landing Inn in Charlos Cove was a good example of the stunning panorama.
Thanks again and I hope you have a good rest of the week.
We await next steps to finding out when the town of Jasper will be ready to welcome visitors, what we currently know –
Icefields Parkway reopened today , 23rd August. Tourists are currently not allowed to stop in the park or motorists can stop at any viewing sightings Pursuit Jasper Hotels and Attraction are cancelling reservations until Aug 30 VIA Rail will not stop in Jasper until at least September 15th, as we understand Fairmont Jasper Par Lodge is cancelling all reservations until the 30th September
We await the next update to share with you as soon as possible to hopefully share a date when Jasper is ready to welcome Tourists again. ... See MoreSee Less
Jasper Wildfire update. This mornings news is sadly very bad for the community of Jasper, Alberta. As the fire has now reached the town and buildings are effected, we will work through according to departure date order to re-arrange all of our customers who have reservations in Jasper. We would appreciate your patience at this time, allowing us to attend to those customers most immediately effected by this awful development. ... See MoreSee Less
💥Some really nice and very useful feedback on a visit to the increasingly popular Canadian Maritimes.💥
Hello Duncan, We have now been back a week and have just about got our feet back on the ground. This is our 5th holiday with Complete North America and once again they did not let us down. The book we received before hand with all the planning in one place really got us excited and Nova Scotia did not let us down. Anyone interested in history will find the island fascinating and the scenery is to die for. The only problem is that you need more than a fortnight to really explore the island.
Can I list the pros and cons. Cons. Digby Pines - a box room, overlooking a yard(not the sea and certainly not deluxe) Inveraray Resort - another box room that was dirty, no view and we were surrounded by bikers who started their bikes every morning at 6am. We loved Charlos Cove with one of the best stays but it was a long way to go for just one night Pros (this is a long list) Halifax Citadil, Maritime Museum, water front Luneburg, Bluenose, Kejimkujik National Park,Annapolis Royal, Truro Victoria Park, Inverness beach, CABOT TRAIL, ski Cape Smokey, Grand Pre, Lockett Vineyard, Wolfville, Charlos Cove, A.G.Bell museum. I’m sure I could go on forever.
A wonderful holiday filled with so many happy memories. Thank you Duncan and your team.
Location: Mariposa, CA Percent Contained: 5% Start Date: July 4, 2024 Size: 843 acres
We are currently monitoring the French Fire, which started on July 4th at 6:33PM Pacific Time. The fire is burning near Mariposa, CA, which is approximately 40 miles from Yosemite National Park, and is currently 5% contained. Dozers and handcrews worked hard to establish a fireline around the entire eastern side of the community of Mariposa. As the fire is moderated, firefighters will continue to focus on the eastern side of the fire. Winds have calmed which has helped firefighters make progress overnight. Highway 140 is closed outside the park in the Mariposa area, all other roads to Yosemite are currently open. There may be longer delays than normal at entrance stations, however, the fire is not threatening Yosemite National Park and the park remains open and accessible to visitors.

Duncan,
Just an email to say thank you for sorting everything for our trip.
It really was wonderful and everything re both remembered and expected.
In the first three hotels, we were upgraded which was wonderful and it was lovely to see that some places had not changed.
The stop at Boothbay harbour was absolutely exceptional, because it was on the week of there Windjammer Festival. It was one of the most beautiful places we have ever had the opportunity to visit. We obviously like the water and sailing boats and with so many scooners from yesteryear on the water, it was wonderful.
It will not be the last you hear from us, because we are now looking at doing the deep south, and i like one of your escorted tours i have seen.
💥Another great Western Canada experience - who's next!💥
Good Morning
We had a fantastic holiday in Canada. Thank you very much to you and your team at Complete North America for all you did to ensure that was the case. Every hotel, every tour knew we were coming and there was never a query about a booking. The car hire was very smooth - we picked it up the night before planned to enable us to make an early start out of Vancouver and beat the traffic.
Canada as I am sure you know is awesome(!). Stunning scenery and very friendly people.
If I hear of anyone crossing the Atlantic I will thoroughly recommend your company and hope to use it again one day for another visit (when we have saved up!)

Hi Duncan
We got back from the US yesterday and are now back home so just wanted to thank you for organising an amazing holiday.
We’ve had a brilliant time and everything went to plan - flights, hotels, car hire all spot on so thank you. Loved all the places in their different ways and so many highlights to pick out but we particularly loved San Fran, Monterey, driving down Big Sur (most of way) and Grand Canyon. Vegas is obviously like nothing else and was great too - our highlight there was the Sphere where the Postcards from Earth show was unbelievable.
Thanks again for everything - won’t hesitate to recommend you to friends if others ask for advice in booking anything similar in the future.
