This fully escorted land tour departs on Thursdays throughout the summer and travels to Denali National Park, Talkeetna, Seward and Kenai Fjords National Park. Some meals are included. Travel by motorcoach and deluxe dome rail cars.

Day 1 (Thu) Anchorage Arrival

Arrive in Anchorage. Transfer from the airport to your hotel available on a set schedule. The rest of today is at leisure to explore Anchorage.

Hilton Hotel or similar (hotel will be confirmed approx. 30 days prior)

Overnight in Anchorage


Day 2 (Fri) Anchorage to Denali

Board the motor coach for a journey north to Denali. The route takes you along the scenic Parks Highway where you will make several stops along the way. Watch for a glimpse of the majestic mountain Denali as well as incredible Alaskan wildlife.

Welcome dinner included this evening.

Day 3 (Sat) Denali National Park

Today travel in a park bus into Denali National Park and search the vast wilderness for bears, moose, caribou, and Dall sheep. A small snack is included during the tour.

The afternoon and evening are open for optional tours.

Day 4 (Sun) Denali to Talkeetna

This morning ride in a deluxe dome rail car from Denali National Park to Talkeetna. Watch for the mountain Denali or black bears along the banks of the Susitna River.

The remainder of the day is open for optional tours including sightseeing, hiking or a jet boat tour.

Day 5 (Mon) Talkeetna to Seward

Board the deluxe motor coach for today’s grand adventure to Seward, gateway to the Kenai Fjords National Park. As you travel along the scenic Turnagain Arm, keep an eye out for Dall sheep high up in the rocky cliffs, as well as moose, bears and eagle on your journey.

Day 6 (Tue) Seward / Kenai Fjords National Park

Spend the morning exploring the coastal community of Seward. Later this morning, board a glacier and wildlife cruise and travel through the majestic Kenai Fjords National Park.

Explore the face of a glacier and keep your eyes open for seals, sea lions, sea otters, whales, bears, eagles, and puffins throughout this half-day exploration cruise with lunch included on the boat.

Day 7 (Wed) Seward to Anchorage

Return by motor coach to Anchorage where you will enjoy a brief city tour including the historic downtown district as well as a visit to the Anchorage Museum, a world-class museum which seeks to preserve, exhibit and interpret the art and history of Alaska.

Tonight, share stories of your Alaskan Adventure with your travelling companions at a closing night dinner.

Day 8 (Thu) Anchorage Departure

Your adventure comes to an end with a transfer to the airport (set transfer schedule only). (B)

  • Bus tour into Denali National Park including park fee (in May 4.5-5 hours; starting in June 7-8 hours; in September duration could be 5-8 hours depending on road and weather conditions).

  • 7 nights good/moderate class hotels (3.5-4 star) and baggage handling.
  • 7 breakfasts (B), 1 lunch on boat cruise, 1 snack on Denali tour (S), 2 dinners (D)
  • Transportation in full size coach and rail journey Denali to Talkeetna (dome rail car)
  • Knowledgeable English Speaking Guide.
  • Sightseeing in Anchorage including visit of the Anchorage Museum
  • Glacier & Wildlife cruise into Kenai Fjords National Park (including park fee)
