Whale breach at sunset in Canada

Quebec & the Maritimes

14 night fly drive from £2,729 per person including flights, car rental and accommodation

This itinerary has all that you would imagine from a holiday in Canada, from modern Montreal to one of Canada’s oldest settlements; from Caribou in the Gaspe to Beluga whales in the St. Lawrence; from quaint Atlantic fishing villages to magnificent mountain scenery.
Mountains. Wildlife. Dramatic countryside. Sophisticated cosmopolitan cities. Follow the mighty St. Lawrence River to its gulf – and the sea. Crossing the river by ferry, you visit the Gaspe Peninsula, where seabirds live in colonies of thousands, and descendants of Canada’s early French settlers fish and farm in tiny villages clinging to the coast. Your journey ends at Halifax, Nova Scotia, a seaport from wooden ship days, where schooners can still be seen in the harbour next to the busy restored waterfront.

Canada’s most cosmopolitan city – Montreal, welcomes you. From the amazing underground city centre to the top of the Olympic tower (the world’s tallest leaning tower) with its view of the city, the excitement is everywhere.

Nova Scotia Cabot Trail

We had a fantastic holiday in Nova Scotia. It was even better than we had expected. The weather was great, only one drizzly day & some very heavy rain one night when we were at Truro.
